[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Selected scholars in the eight-year will receive a scholarship that will consist of tuition assistance for four years funded through a range of grants and donations that complement need-based grants offered by public state schools and the federal government. Scholars must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or minimum GPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale and must re-apply every year. Each scholar must agree and commit to a mandate describing common expectations for all students; which clearly communicates parameters for success in each successive year of school and outlines how students will learn, be assessed, and receive support.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]

Sponsor a Scholar

Sponsorship is the core of the Aparecio Scholars Consortium Program. Each scholar is matched with a consortium chapter, who make a financial commitment relating to their paired scholar(s) to provide tuition assistance for an Aparecio Scholar to attend a 4 year university.

Aparecio Scholars Consortium’s are individuals, group of family members, friends, colleagues, corporations, social or other organizations that demonstrate their commitment to the development of private sector student aid by supporting the mission of the Aparecio Foundation and its Aparecio Scholars Consortium program. The Aparecio Scholars Consortium will begin raising or contributing funds four years prior to the students entry to university.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_column_text]

Aparecio Scholars Consortium members make the following commitments relating to their paired scholar(s):

  • Provide tuition assistance to a sponsored Aparecio Scholar to attend a 4 year university.
  • Provide financial support through raising or contributing funds to provide a scholarship for a student that will be used to fill any unmet student need remaining after the institution’s financial aid package has been calculated.
  • Provide speakers or host Aparecio Scholar Consortium events.
  • Provide leadership and support efforts to grow Aparecio Scholars Consortium members.
