In 2015, Dima was selected by Chicago Tribune’s BlueSky Vault as one of the top 100 entrepreneurs in Chicago. Her current venture, VisMed-3D, a biomedical design and consulting firm, is in keeping with her thirst for new technology and innovation. Using the team’s expertise in 3D printing allows, VisMed-3D to be a leader in 3D biomedical visualization and printing for personalized medicine. Alongside this innovative start-up, she is pursuing her passion — devoting time, energy and guidance to women founders and entrepreneurs. As an adjunct faculty member or Entrepreneur-in-residence, teaching Entrepreneurship or as an in-demand speaker, she exemplifies her commitment to giving back and paying it forward.
Launching over 16 technology start-ups. Directing and driving operations and profitability are among the business accomplishments and adventures of her blossoming career as an entrepreneurial C-Level executive.
Prior to start-ups, she held numerous positions at NutraSweet—including in International Marketing, New Business Ventures and Merger and Acquisitions.
Her distinct insight and outlook have been sharpened by serving as a board member for domestic and international community-based organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Dima presently participates on the Stem Steering committee for the Apareció Foundation. In addition, she serves on the World Business Chicago Advisory Council for Manufacturing, Ms. Tech Executive Council and the Chicago Chapter of Women in Bio.
Dima holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Hanover College, and earned her MBA from Texas A&M’s May’s School of Business with a concentration in Finance. She is a member of the board of trustees for Hanover College.
